Little Knowledge is very Dangerous

Little Knowledge is very Dangerous

Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Ratan. He was very overconfident and did not have complete knowledge about anything. He kept little knowledge and never tried to increase his knowledge.

One day, when he was travelling through the jungle, the dacoits of the jungle trapped him and took him to their area. Ratan pleaded to them many times to let him go away but they did not let him go because they were wanted and no one knows about their area. Ratan thought very much about how to be free from their trap.

One day, when they were making weapons, he thought that one day his father told him how to make weapon. He told to them that he could make weapons. He also kept a condition that if he made good weapons they would free him from their trap. The dacoits accepted it and said,” If you would not make good weapons then you would die.”

Ratan started making weapons for them. When he finished the weapon, he gave it to the head of the dacoits. When he tried the weapon, then he found that the weapon was not stable and powerful. It broke in the first try. Ratan remembered that when his father told him to make weapons, he did not took the whole lesson but only took a part of it. So, the weapons were not stable and powerful. Now as the dacoits had said, they killed Ratan.
